What were my expectations when I joined MBS, what skills have I developed over the years, and how has my role evolved?
MBS was essentially my first “real” work experience. About ten years ago, fresh out of university with a degree in Management Engineering, I was looking for a dynamic and challenging environment where I could work across different industries and engage with inspiring people.
MBS has been a true "training ground for life," enabling me to develop an effective problem-solving approach and a structured work methodology.
From day one, I played an active role and gained significant client exposure. I still vividly remember, just a month or two after joining, when a Partner unexpectedly involved me in a meeting with a CEO to present an analysis I had conducted.
Over time, you gradually gain greater autonomy in planning and executing your tasks. Eventually, you learn to manage a team and provide support and mentoring to younger colleagues.
How has MBS evolved over the years?
While naturally adapting to substantial growth, MBS has remained true to its core values - teamwork and a strong focus on people - which continue to define its identity.
In recent years, the team has expanded significantly, broadening its scope across industries and project types, thanks in part to the opportunities created by becoming part of the Cerved Group.
Our approach has always been centered on “making things happen,” but through the synergies with the Group, we’ve enhanced our capabilities with a data- and algorithm-driven consulting model, delivering practical, actionable solutions to help our clients meet their challenges with confidence.
What kind of projects have you been involved in during your career?
Over the years, I have gained experience across all the key sectors MBS operates in, including Financial Services, Energy, and Products & Manufacturing.
I have led both strategic initiatives (such as industrial plans, launching new companies, and organizational restructuring) and more operational projects (like margin recovery and process optimization), working closely with all levels of client organizations.
