Stefano Bonini

Stefano joined MBS at the end of 2023, following three years at Cerved and more than a decade at Accenture Consulting, where he led the Credit Risk practice and provided strategic support to major banking institutions and rating agencies. With over 15 years of experience, he has taught Banking, Risk Management, and Fintech at renowned universities (Bologna, Florence, Lumsa) and Business Schools (Bologna, Politecnico di Milano). He has also held visiting positions at prestigious international institutions, including New York University, Georgetown University, Birmingham University, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Université Côte d’Azur, and Universidad de Barcelona. Stefano is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences on Risk Management and Fintech and publishes regularly in top academic journals such as the European Journal of Finance and Journal of Credit Risk. He holds a degree in Political Economy (with a thesis in Mathematics for Economics) and a Ph.D. in Banking & Finance.
