Ms Cavalli holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University. She has an international background and a broad and significant experience in the Finance area, developed both in consulting as well as large multinational corporations.

In 1997 she began her professional career at Accenture, where she gained ten years of experience in the consulting sector, first in Italy and then in the US, dealing with corporate transformation projects in the financial and controlling fields.

In 2006 she joined AstraZeneca, a pharmaceutical multinational company, with the role of Financial Controller, also holding the position of interim CFO.

In 2010 she began her career in Microsoft as Business and Marketing Organization Controller and, after ten months, she became the CFO for Italy. Her career continued at Microsoft and in 2016 she took on the role of Regional Finance Director for Central Eastern Europe with the aim of consolidating the financial performance of 33 countries.

Since 2019 she is Regional Senior Finance Director (Western Europe) at Microsoft.
